MULTIPLYING NUMBERS UP TO 10: We will begin by learning how to multiply numbers up to 10x10 E.g. 1 7X8=???? Solution- 7 x 8 = 3 x 2 8 Go to the first number 7. How many more do you need to make 10? The answer is 3. Go to the next number 8. How many more do you need to make 10? The answer is 2 Then subtract diagonally. Take either one of the number. ( 7-2 =5 8-3= 5) 7 x 8 =5(3 x 2)( put 5 on the left side and next to tat 5 put the multiplication of 3 and 2) and we get 7 x 8 =56.
